Humble. Beginnings.
I am 30 years old, born and raised in East County San Diego. I graduated in the spring of 2012 from Granite Hills High School, located in El Cajon, California. I have a dual bachelor's in Graphic Design and Software Development from California State University Fullerton and Bellevue University. I received my MA from The University of Florida in Mass Communication and Web Development (August 2022).
Work, work. Work.
In the summer of 2012, I moved to Orange County to attend my first year at California State University, Fullerton. At the time, I was urgently seeking a job, so I decided to apply to several places. On April 12, 2013, I was hired at the Disneyland Resort, which opened many doors for me. I graduated from Fullerton with a BA in Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Application Design in 2018.
Lastly, Checkmate.
Through the Disney Aspire Program, I was able to return to school and receive my second BA from Bellevue University, located in Omaha, Nebraska. On June 2020, I received my BA in Computer Science in Software Development.
On August 5th, 2022, I earned my Masters in Mass Communication and Web Design from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. I am the CEO of Maya Multimedia LLC, also an Instructor at the Coding Minds Academy, and a Server at Riverbelle Terrace at Disneyland Resort.

HTML5/Bootstrap
At CSUF, I learned HTML5 and Bootstrap through a combination of lectures, readings, and hands-on coding assignments. The basics of HTML5 and Bootstrap, including the structure of HTML documents, how to use HTML tags and attributes, and how to use Bootstrap components. Constantly reading up on the latest HTML5 and Bootstrap features and best practices. Through this combination of lectures, readings, and coding exercises, I was able to gain a scholarly understanding of HTML5 and Bootstrap.
CSS / SASS/ LESS
At California State University Fullerton, I was able to learn and master the fundamentals of CSS, Sass, and Less. I took a class in web design and development that focused on the basics of HTML and CSS. I then continued to use those skills to learn the more advanced concepts of Sass and Less. Through this class, I was able to gain a better understanding of how to use these languages to create websites.
Javascript/AJAX/XML
At the University of Florida I mastered the concepts of Web Development, which focused on the fundamentals of JavaScript and Ajax. I also took a course on XML, which taught me how to use XML to store and retrieve data. Through these courses, I was able to develop my understanding of the basics of JavaScript, Ajax, and XML.
JAVA / JSP
At Bellevue University, I was able to successfully learn Java and JSP (JavaServer Pages) and recieved my bachelors in software Engineering. In the course, I learned the fundamentals of Java programming, such as classes, objects, methods, and variables. I also learned the basics of creating webpages using JSP, including the use of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. By the end of my bachelors, I had a comprehensive understanding of both Java and JSP, and was able to confidently create web applications.
Android Development
After earning a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, I was determined to learn Android development. I started by researching the fundamentals of the Android platform, including the Android SDK, the Java language, and the Android Studio development environment. Including Kotlin to improve functionality. Through self-study, I was able to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Android platform.
Amazon Web Services / GoDaddy
Amazon Web Services is very important in the deployment of Java WARFILES instances and pipelines between Github and AWS for Python deployment. By using Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, RDS, Route 53, Certificate Manager, S3, CLoudFront, I’m able to configure the deployment for any number of projects while keeping security tight. I’m also versed in setting up DNS systems for domains purchased through GoDaddy.
Python
Python is growing in popularity due to it's programming and web development capabilities. I use Django as the framework for Python web development. Also using python to connect to open AI API's.
Django
Python's Django is an open-source, Python-based web framework follows the model–template–views architectural pattern for developing web pages and database management system (dbms).
GITHUB
GIthub has been a real advantage in saving, pushing and pulling repos. Sharing ideas with other programmers. Learning open source scripts from other like minded programmers.
PHP
At the University of Florida, PHP was the fundamental programming language for web development and content managing system.
LAMP/XAMPP/MAMP
Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP. LAMP is an acronym denoting one of the most common software stacks for many of the web's most popular applications. A powerful tool in the web developer arsenal. Including xampp and MAMP for localhost deployment
Hostinger/Filezilla/Wordpress
Hostinger is one of the most convenient way''s to deploy, static and dynamic web pages. Wordpress is an important tool as a content management service.
C SHARP / C++
A general-purpose high-level programming language from the C family. Another language I focused heavily on in my Software engineering degree. This language is useful for programming in Unity, object-oriented prorgamming and gaming.
ASP.NET
Used in combination with C sharp, ASP.NET is an open-source, server-side web-application framework I use in web development to produce dynamic web pages.
Blender / MAYA 3D
Through MAYA and Blender I can create 3D-models and practice rigging.
LUA
Lua is a programming language that you can use to code game mechanics in Roblox and create custom features. But game development is just one way that Lua comes in handy. The wildly popular language can also be used to build applications from scratch or extend the functionality of existing software.
Roblox
Lua and Roblox is an online game platform and game creation system developed by Roblox Corporation that allows users to program games and play games created by other users.
UNITY
One of my favorite things to do is create visual effects, art, 3D-printed models, motion graphics, interactive 3D applications, user-interfaces, virtual reality, video games. With the power of Unity I can create and code interactive designs.
